J.D. Vance is the 47th Vice President of the United States, inaugurated on January 20, 2025, alongside President Donald Trump.
At 40 years old, Vance is the first millennial to hold the vice presidency.
Prior to his vice presidency, Vance gained recognition as the author of “Hillbilly Elegy,” a memoir detailing his upbringing in Ohio and Kentucky. He later transitioned into politics, serving as a U.S. Senator from Ohio before being selected as Trump’s running mate in the 2024 election.
