THE JUBILEE PRAYER

Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel. May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when, with the powers of Evil vanquished, your glory will shine eternally.

May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To you our God, eternally blessed,

be glory and praise for ever. Amen.

SALA YA JUBILEI

Baba uliye mbinguni, Imani uliyotujalia katika Mwanao Yesu Kristo, kaka yetu, na mwali wa Upendo uliowashwa mioyoni mwetu na Roho Mtakatifu, na ziamshe upya ndani yetu, Tumaini lenye heri la ujio wa Ufalme wako.

Tunaomba neema yako itubadilishe, ili tuwe wakulima wasiochoka wa mbegu za Injili. Mbegu hizo zibadilishe kutoka ndani ubinadamu na ulimwengu wote, katika tarajio la uhakika la mbingu mpya na dunia mpya, pale ambapo nguvu za Uovu zitakapokuwa zimeshindwa, utukufu wako utang’aa milele.

Neema ya Jubilei na iamshe upya ndani yetu, sisi Mahujaji wa Matumaini, shauku ya hazina za mbinguni. Neema hiyo hiyo ieneze furaha na amani ya Mkombozi wetu duniani kote. Ewe Mungu wetu, mbarikiwa milele, utukufu na sifa ni kwako hata milele. Amina.

Ithe witũ wa igũrũ, ĩtĩkĩra atĩ Wĩtĩkia ũrĩa ũtũhete thĩinĩ wa Mwana waku, Yesu Kristũ, Mũrũ wa Ithe witũ, na mwaki wa Rwendo ũrĩa wakĩtio nĩ Muoyo Mũtheru thĩinĩ wa ngoro ciitũ, ciarahũre thĩinĩ witũ Mwĩhoko mũtheru wa gũũka kwa Ũthamaki waku.

Wega waku ũrotũgarũra tũtuĩke arĩmĩri marĩ kĩyo a mbegũ cia Injiri. Mbegũ icio ciroagĩrithia kuuma na thĩinĩ kĩrĩndĩ ona thĩ yothe, wetereri-inĩ ũtarĩ nganja wa igũrũ rĩerũ ona thĩ njerũ, rĩrĩa mahinya ma Ũũru makorwo mang’arĩtio, ũkumio waku nĩ ũgacangarara mĩndĩ na mĩndĩ.

Reke wega wa Jubilee ĩno warahũre thĩini witũ, ithuĩ Agendi a Mwihoko,
